After many attempts of late to coordinate schedules, we finally connected for some quality Chinese food today. Another multi-talented individual who I first met when I hired him to work on an Immersion Studios project between France (Paris) and Canada (Montreal) - he was the magic Parisian connection that helped on both interface design and industrial design of the exhibits.
Little did I know that Priam was now (and for some time now!) living in Toronto and continuing his explorations of the digital (teaching Game Design at George Brown) and the physical (in his new electronic materials projects). A good set of discussions to challenge the mind on the nature of cities, sustainability, variety in life, nature of materiality in design, not to mention the joys and pains (mostly pains) of paperwork for the Canadian Government…
Well I was inspired by the discussions!
